56th Chopin Piano Competition: New York

Young virtuosos performing Chopin, Szymanowski, and other master composers.
Both Friday preliminaries and Saturday finals are open to the public.
Azure Ensemble
Sunday, April 17 at 3 PM, $25/$20 for members
Chamber Music Series
One of New York City’s most exciting new chamber music groups,
the Azure Ensemble boasts varied repertoire, diverse instrumentation,
and exciting programming. Their Kosciuszko Foundation debut includes
music of Debussy and Britten as well as the New York premiere of Marta
Ptaszynska’s “Gran Sommeil Noir.”

Wieniawski Violin Competition
Monday and Tuesday, April 25-26 at 10 AM
Glenn Dicterow, Concertmaster, New York Philharmonic, Jury Chair
Young virtuoso violinists perform music of Wieniawski, Szymanowski and
other master composers. Both day's sessions open to the public.
All events take place at the Foundation House, unless otherwise
