Sembrich Symposium at Bolton Landing on Lake George
The Marcella Sembrich Memorial Association is presenting a number of special events celebrating the life and legacy of the great Polish soprano who sang at the Metropolitan Opera between 1883 and 1909. On Saturday, August 9, there will be a day-long symposium at the Museum, on Lake George, featuring three Kosciuszko Foundation grantees: musicologists Malgorzata Komorowska, Stephen Herx, and Joseph Herter.
