All Chopin Concert by Nina Kuzma-Sapiejewska
Friday, May 13 at 7:30 PM, $15
Nina Kuzma-Sapiejewska, well known Polish pianist and a specialist in the
music of Chopin, will perform an all-Chopin recital on Friday, May 13,
at 7:30 PM, at the Kosciuszko Foundation. Tickets are $15, and can be reserved
by calling the Foundation Office at 212.734.2130.
Her program includes the "Funeral March" Sonata, Op. 35, as well as
a selection of Nocturnes, Waltzes, the Opp. 31 and 39 Scherzi, and the "Heroic" Polonaise,

Thaddeus Brys, cello with
Susan Brys on Piano
Thursday, May 19
at 8 PM, $20
A native New Yorker, Thaddeus Brys taught cello and chamber music at Louisiana
State University, and is now active as soloist and chamber music collaborator.
He has also toured as a chamber player for Columbia Concerts. Brys received
his training at the Mannes College of Music and The Juilliard School, and
has coached with Pablo Casals in France and Vermont. More info...
