Vladimir Lihodedov is a Belarusian historian and deltiologist, author of 11 books, and more than 30 exhibitions. He will present his book  "Tadeusz Kosciuszko in old postcards and drawings".

Mozart's Sister is an award-winning play conceived and performed by Sylvia Milo, with acclaimed Polish theatre artists and America's most innovative contemporary music composers. It tells the story of the keyboard virtuoso, composer, and child prodigy – Maria Anna (Nannerl) Mozart. This Other Mozart toured throughout Europe performing side by side with her brother, to equal acclaim, but faded away and left behind nothing of her own.

Aga was named Jazz Vocalist of The Year in the European Jazz Forum Magazine's yearly Jazz Top readers' poll in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010. We are very happy to have the opportunity of presenting a very special concert by Aga Zaryan, an internationally recognized jazz vocalist of the new  generation who had already performed in NY  jazz venues on a number of occasions. This time she would sing in Polish. Her repertoire will include poetry written during the time of the Warsaw Uprising, known from the album Umiera Piekno. A panel discussion on Solidarity & a private screening of Fall of The Empire, a 52-minute film produced by the European Solidarity Center in Gdansk.

The Kosciuszko Foundation recommends the Carnegie Hall mini-series performances called 

The Szymanowski Project.

Two tickets to the May 2nd concert are being raffled at our 75th Annual Dinner and Ball.

 Soprano LAUREN SKUCE and pianist MARIJA STROKE will perform in the Chamber Music Series of the Kosciuszko Foundation. Their program features a set of songs by Chopin, commemorating the bicentennial of the composer's birth; and "Songs of Life and Love", by New York-based composer Bruce Adolphe. The afternoon includes the popular song-cycle Frauenliebe und Leben, of Robert Schumann; and ends with four songs of Richard Strauss.
