The festivities at the Kosciuszko Foundation 75th Annual Dinner and Ball on Saturday, April 24, 2010 in the Grand Ballroom of New York's Waldorf=Astoria promise to be wonderful. The Ball will be chaired by Mr. and Mrs. Joseph E. Gore and the Patroness of this year's debutantes will be Mrs. Patti McCune. The festive and elegant Debutante Luncheon will take place on Sunday, March 28, 2010 aboard the World Yacht's Princess yacht.
We are now eagerly accepting applications for debutantes to be presented to society in the Ball's Cotillion.
Young women aged 16 to 25, with a background of scholastic achievement and community service, are invited to participate. The Debutante Presentation is a highlight of the Ball, an updated tradition going back more than 70 years. Accompanied by cadets from West Point, as well as their personal escorts and fathers, the debutantes are presented before an audience of members of the diplomatic corps, community leaders and other notables
If you are interested in participating as a debutante or would like to propose a candidate, please call the Kosciuszko Foundation Development Office at 212-734-2130 x 222 for a descriptive brochure and application form.

The Debutante Council prepares young ladies for presentation to society and the community at the Kosciuszko Foundation's Annual Dinner and Ball. The Council, made up of ladies of Polish ancestry or those with connections to the Kosciuszko Foundation, invites young ladies between the ages of 16 and 25 with a background of scholastic achievement and community service to participate in the Ball and prepares them for their appearance through meetings and a special luncheon. The Debutante Presentation at the Ball is a much-anticipated event and has been a highlight of the Ball for years, instilling in young women a sense of traditional values, education, and conduct in sophisticated social settings. For the Debutante, it is an exciting and elegant experience that makes memories to last a lifetime.
