Agata Kulis is a singer and songwriter, a former student of the prestigious
Berklee College of Music (Boston, USA) as an international scholarship recipient.
Her musical education began in Krakow, Poland – at the St. Wiechowicz Music School, where she studied piano; and the M. Karłowicz Secondary Music School, as a classical voice major. A graduate of Jagiellonian University, Agata also studied music at the
John Paul II Pontifical University – both institutions in Krakow.
She has won, among others, the European Tour/ Berklee College of Music Scholarship (2013), the Berklee International Grant (2014) and the Award of Radio Ramp Listeners, New York (2015). Over the years she has performed in Poland, Europe, Africa and the United States. Her album "Come a little closer" aims at bringing together various classic repertoires within the Jazz / R & B genres. Agata's time at Berklee College of Music has seen her participate in many notable events – the Newport Folk Festival, Singers Showcase: 100 Years of Popular Music, and Vocal Jazz Festival to name a few – while juggling regular performances on her own agenda.
