"Kosciuszko, Jefferson and History's Forgotten Man from Stockbridge" - a lecture by Dr. Gary B. Nash

In honor of the Bicentennial of General Tadeusz Kosciuszko's death, the KF Philadelphia Chapter hosts a public lecture by Gary B. Nash, Ph.D.: Kosciuszko, Jefferson & History's Forgotten Man from Stockbridge at the Museum of the American Revolution. The event is free and open to the public and is organized in cooperation with the Museum of the American Revolution and the U.S. National Park Service.

March with us at the Pulaski Day Parade!

Join us as we march in the 80th annual Pulaski Day Parade on Sunday, October 1, 2017. We'll meet at 12:00 p.m. on 38th Street between Madison & 5th Avenues. Dress in white and red and bring Polish flags.

This year's Parade theme is Thaddeus Kosciuszko – Hero of Two Nations.

Celebrating the Year of Kosciuszko at the KF House

Join us for the reception recognizing KF Friends and Partners: Tadeusz Alberski and Dariusz Knapik for their efforts to have the Kosciuszko name shine brightly once again on the new Kosciuszko Bridge. The event will feature Kosciuszko dedicated art exhibit, talks, reception and live music.

Cracow Duo - violin and piano recital

Join us for the Cello and Piano Recital by Cracow Duo: Jan Kalinowski & Marek Szlezer from Cracow, Poland. The duo has performed together for 15 years in Europe, Asia and the USA (including Carnegie Hall in NY and Newman Hall in LA in 2015) receiving the highest critical acclaim. On October 20th they will perform selected works by Chopin, Nowowiejski, Paderewski, Polaczyk, Stojowski, and Tansman in a concert commemorating Tadeusz Kosciuszko on the bicentennial of his passing.

A piano concert by Konrad Skolarski - in Celebration of the Independence Day of Poland

Celebrated for his lyrical-dramatic interpretations, unique, personal style and consummate artistry, Polish pianist Konrad Skolarski presents a recital to celebrate Poland's Independence Day. The program will feature works by Bach, Beethoven, Chopin and Liszt. The concert is presented in partnership with the Polish Cultural Institute New York.
